Killer Vibe, Feel and Tone! (Stock #1328)

This is a very special guitar. It is the last project Kim Lafluer, from Historic Makeovers, and I worked on together before he passed away a few months ago. We have worked on many, many together and sadly this is the last. We decided to take the original gold top and chose black for the refinish. There isn’t much cooler than a black Les Paul standard. The only thing that can make it cooler is have it be a P-90 load LP. This guitar looks amazing. The black finish really stands out, the aging is subtle and perfect, and the fretboard is super dark and smooth. The tone is incredible the neck pickup is warm and woody. The bridge is clear but growly, tele on steroids, classic P90 tone. This guitar is super resonant and that translates perfectly to the amplified tone. The playability is incredible, with the neck shaved down to a very comfortable medium C. This guitar is aged and exactly as it came from Historic Makeovers.
