Absolutely Perfect Reissue! (Stock #1331)

This is a special guitar. It has been my personal #1 guitar for 10 years. This guitar started as a Collector’s Choice #28 Montrose. I was lucky enough to be able to personally go to the custom shop and hand select every pier that went into this guitar. The top is the best they had out of hundreds we looked at. It was actually set aside by Edwin Wilson in his personal stash and he let me pick through it. It was already the best reissue I’d ever played, but after 3 years of playing it I chose to send it to Historic Makeover to unlock all of its potential. That is exactly what happened. They completed a full makeover, including Brazilian rosewood fretboard. It some how made this already incredible guitar even better. They finished it in dirty lemon with just a few cherry touches, that have mostly faded. It looks absolutely incredible in person. The aging, now a mix of HM aging and playwear looks great. This guitar absolutely looks and feels like a 65 year old guitar. The tone is the perfect Les Paul tone. It is full and woody but still clear. It does anything you could want from a LP. The neck is perfect, as is playability. The plastic hardware has been upgraded to high end repro and it has Emerson pots and PIO caps. This guitar is aged and has been played but is in excellent condition.
