Incredible Top and Played in Feel! (Stock #1320)
This guitar is a special one. It has a great top, the color is beautiful, aging is superb, and it sounds amazing. The top is super vintage looking with thick, wavy flame that has a lot of movement. It looks fantastic from every angle but changes a lot. The color is perfect. It looks like a faded late-50s burst. The aging looks and feels right. It looks like a 65 year old guitar and has a great played in feel. The tone is pure magic. this guitar rings out when strummed unplugged. It has the resonance you look for in a great one. Plugged in, it has great clarity and a rich, woody tone with great mids, tight low-end and bright highs without any harshness. The neck is a great feeling medium C and playability is excellent. This guitar is in excellent condition. The pickups were changed at some point, but have been returned to original Custombuckers. There are 2 plugged screw holes under the bridge pickup ring where the ring was misaligned and screwed done. They are plugged and not visible at all with the pickup and ring installed.
