Every once in a while a guitar comes in that is truly jaw-dropping. This is one of those guitars! The version 1 of the 1960 las have the exact same spec as a 1959, just like the earliest 1960 bursts had. The top is unbelievable. It has huge, strong, wavy flame. It looks incredible from every angle but still has tons of movement. The color looks like a burst that just left the factory in 1960 and really looks great. The tone is everything you could want from a great Les Paul. It rings like a bell and is smooth, clear and still woody. It can do it all and do it well. The neck is a medium C and plays great. This guitar is in as new condition.
