These 60th anniversary R9s are everything you could want in a 59 reissue. They have all of the appointments you could ever want. They are the closest reissue ever to a real 59. The new combination of real PIO caps, unspotted custom buckers and the most useable pots Gibson has ever install is a magical combination, that was previously hard to achieve without going after-market. The top on this guitar is beautiful, strong, while vintage. The flame is a nice wide ribbon flame with some nice flecking for extra character. The color is a beautiful slightly faded tea burst with just a hint of red left in the burst. The tone is great. The guitar is super resonant and clear. That along with the upgraded electronics make it a tone monster. The neck is a very comfortable medium C with perfect playability. This guitar is in as new condition.
