This is the closest guitar to a actual 1959 Les Paul Gibson has produced since the last original burst left the factory in 1960. It is a near perfect representation of what a under the bed 1959 burst would look like today. The burst is super rich and vibrant with no fading. The Brazilian rosewood is dark, smooth and even. The top is a killer 3D flame with tons of movement. It have a great vintage vibe to it while still being a strongly flamed top. The tone is near perfection as well. It is very resonant and clear with great balance. It's really rich sounding with some nice woodiness. It sounds great throughout the tonal spectrum. The neck is a great medium C profile with great playability. This guitar is in as new condition.
