Beautiful Goldtop with Beautiful Tone! (Stock #1177)
Is there anything better than a good Goldtop? I’m not sure there is. This one is a great one. The gold paint on the newer ones is the right color and looks perfect. The aging on this particular one looks great. It is very authentic looking and not over the top like some I’ve seen. It looks like a well played but loved 60 year old guitar. The tone is pure blues and classic rock. It is a very resonant and super clear. When played clean it is very woody and full. With some overdrive it is rock and roll machine. This guitar covers a ton of ground, as any good Les Paul should. The neck is a medium/chunky C profile and playability is great. This guitar is in as new condition.
