Amazing Work of Art and Rock Machine! (Stock #1340)
This is, by far, one of the best Les Paul I’ve ever had my hands on. Gibson Custom and the Murphy Lab absolutely crushed it with this guitar. It recreates one of the most legendary 1959 Bursts ever, owned by, the late, Ed King of Lynyrd Skynyrd and currently owned by Jason Isbell. Unfortunately, I have not been able to play more from this run because they are so rare. There were only 59 made and are only available directly through Gibson. Not sure, but this may be the only one currently for sale. The top on this one is incredible. Incredibly strong flame, no dead spots in the flame at any angle, and good movement. The finish is beautiful. It’s a dirty lemon with the famous red spot that gave it its name. The aging looks truly authentic. It looks and feels like a 65 year old guitar. The tone is where this one really stands out. It sounds unbelievable. It is super resonant and responsive. It has clarity in all three pickup positions. It can really growl, but also cleans up beautifully with great fullness and woodiness. It covers a ton of ground tonally. The neck is a very nice medium C and the playability is excellent up and down the neck. This guitar is in as new condition.

Beautiful Burst, Top and Super. Lightweight! (Stock #1333)
This guitar is unreal! It has it all. This one is from the best days of R8s from 2013-2018 when they had absolutely beautiful subtle flame tops. This one has that but has the bonus of super lightweight. This guitar looks amazing. The top is a beautiful subtle flame top. It has a very distinct vintage look to it. The burst is a beautiful deep cherry and really stands out. It is a striking guitar every time you open the case. The tone is great as well. This guitar is super resonant. It really rings out with a rich full tone. It has great clarity in all three pickup positions. Playability is great and the neck is a very comfortable chunky C profile. This guitar is in excellent and almost mint condition.
