Amazing Top, Tone and Vintage Look! (Stock #1317)

The Murphy Lab and Gibson Custom Shop continue to put out some truly amazing guitars. This one is one of the prime examples. The top of this one is very even, wavy flame with a 3 D quality the really draws all of your attention again and again. The color is a perfect dirty lemon burst with the perfect amount of aging for a guitar that was played and loved mostly at home for 65 years. Aging is mostly patina of the finish and hardware, along with some finish checking. The tone is super resonant and clear with long sustain. The pickups sound great in all three positions. This guitar can do everything you’d expect from a good Les Paul. The neck is a nice medium C and the playability is excellent. This guitar is in as new condition.
