Super Lightweight, Tone and Looks! (Stock #1278)

If you are looking for a super lightweight Les Paul with amazing tone and looks, this one checks all the boxes. The top on this has wide, even flame with a good amount of movement and consistency. The color is similar to a somewhat faded cherry burst. Still a good amount of red but some fading. It is not what we think of as late 1960 unfaded tomato soup. The tone is killer, it is super resonant and clear with still being warm and balanced. All three pick pickup positions sound great. The version 2 R0s are representative of the transitional bursts between 59 and late 1960. It still has a medium C neck, although thinner than a true 59. It makes for a very comfortable neck with excellent playability. Many consider it the most vintage feeling and comfortable neck the custom shop has ever made. This guitar is in as new condition.
